It's Been A While

Well, we finally had an eventful week.  It was the first Real game of the season.  Even though it was a preseason game, being inside the stadium was awesome, and I am ready for our regular season to start.  This was the first RSL game that Kaden was able to go to, and he was happy to get into his RSL jersey.  We had a great time at the game, where RSL won the game 3-1.  We went with a lot of friends, and Scott and I were able to participate in the half time festivities.  There was a contest to see who could catch the most balls with a bucket on their head, and I was the only one to catch one.  I won an autographed RSL soccer ball.  It was awesome.

Here are a couple of pictures of Kaden.  He loves to smile.  The only time he really cries is when he is hungry.  He also is learning how to balance his bottle by himself.

Well, I have been getting a lot of crap about not posting my 8 things, but if you read my moms blog, then you can see that I am a little busy.  Well, I have Kaden asleep in his bed, and Toby asleep on my lap, so, here we go.  Oh, and before we start, here are some pictures of our favorite guys.

New Member of the Family

Well, I guess first off, we must welcome a new member into our family.  His name is Toby, and he is an 8 week old Cocker Spaniel.  He is definitely a handful, but we love him, and we are excited for him to be a member of our family.  Kaden loves him, and loves to grab for his face.  Toby is pretty cool with it though.

And how can we have a post and not write about the king of the house.  Kaden turned three months old today.  He is getting so big.  We just love him to death, and love all of the new things he is doing.  He rolled over the other day, although we think it was on accident.  Still pretty awesome.  He is also making a lot of noises, trying to talk to mom and dad.  He is standing up with help, and just being a big boy.  

Dad cannot wait for the first game of the season, and we can all wear our Real jerseys.

Kaden's Blessing

Sorry this took so long to get up here.

On Sunday, December 28th, Kaden was blessed.  It was a great experience for everybody, and Kaden was very reverent during his blessing.  We think that he will be a good kid for us.

Christmas Time

We had a wonderful Christmas time this year.  My whole family was able to come out, and with all of us all over the States, that is a hard thing to accomplish.  My parents were able to see their grandchild for the very first time, and we all had a very fun time with him.  This was Kaden's first Christmas, and we all had fun spoiling him.

Playoff Time!

Hello there everybody, it is time for the NFL playoffs.
I wanted to start a friendly competition for bragging rights, and want to start creating brackets for all of the major sports competitions. Feel free to participate in the ones that you wish to, as I am sure there will be a sport or competion that fits you.
This will be the first competion of the year, and I will keep a tally throughout the year to crown the ultimate sports champion.

For the NFL playoffs (and all other playoff competitions) I will award one point for the first round, two points for the second round, etc.

Thanksgiving and Bath Day

Kaden had a great first Thanksgiving.  He got to go to his Grandma and Grandpa Murnin's house, where he was with his great grandma, granparents, aunts and cousins.  His dad, Jordan, was able to spend the holiday with him, as he brought a resident from his group home to spend Thanksgiving with them.  Following the feast, Kaden got to take his first bath, which he was not to happy about.
