New Post

So I pretty much failed horribly on this part of my New Year's resolution! I need to download some totally cute pictures that we have of Kaden. Good news I have lost 15 pounds and counting so I have succeeded on that part of my New Year's resolution.

The soccer season has officially started so Jordan is in the height of his glory. We went to a soccer game on Saturday and it was freezing and rainy and Kaden tagged along too! I know send parents of the year ballots in for us.

We thought that Kaden had allergies, which got really bad yesterday. We took him into the doctor and come to find out he had a sinus infection, ear infection, and conjunctivitus (pink eye) the last one being the reason why we took him to the doctor. Again if you want to send mother of the year ballots in for me feel welcome to...If you can't feel the sarcasm I am laying it on pretty thick. I felt so bad for the poor little man, but to my defense he is a strong little thing and does not let you know that he is not feeling well until it is really bad. So I took the day off today and I will need to tomorrow as well as the daycare will likely not take him in his condition, which is completely understandable and I love the time that I have been able to spend with him.

Poor Kaden :(

I feel so bad for our poor little Kaden. He is quite accident prone. About 2 weeks ago we were at a basketball game and he was playing on the bleachers tripped over his own foot and face planted on the bleacher. The poor little dude :( When we lifted him up he had bit his tongue and their was blood all over his face.

Then the other night, Kaden and Jordan were sitting on the ottoman, sharing ice cream it was sooo cute! They finished eating the ice cream and Kaden wanted to get off of the ottoman. Now I just want to let everyone know that he is normally really good about getting off of couches and chairs by turning around and going off of his stomach. The is time he tried to slide down on his back. His feet got caught and he launched down on the floor and got a bloody nose. Jordan and I felt so bad.

Then this week Kaden has been really, really cranky. This is really not in his personality. We tried everything and anything to make him happy, but he would just throw all sorts of temper tantrums. I just want to let people who do not know Kaden only has 2 bottom teeth and is kind of behind on the tooth front. I noticed in his mouth today that there are 5, yes 5, white bumps on his gums where teeth are trying to emerge. The poor little stinker has 5 teeth coming in at once. It has been an interesting time for us and Kaden. Nothing is worse then seeing your child in pain and we cannot wait until those teeth finally break through. New Family Pictures...Sort of :)

Hi all. I am trying to at least post once a week and we will go from there. Here are some new family pictures that we took only three months ago...I know it is bad that it has taken me this long to show them off. My little sisters friend took them and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs family pictures taken. Anyway, here are the results. The ones of Kaden steal my heart everytime. It is amazing to me how he gets more handsome everyday!

New Year's Resolutions

Hi Everyone! As you know Jordan has been the one that has normally done our blog. I have decided that I am going to take it over. I just decided while being on the internet to see when the last time that we ( I use the term loosly because all of the previous blog post have been courtesy of Jordan) have posted something. I was a little disheartened when I saw that the last post was picutres of Kaden's birthday and Halloween. I cannot even blame Jordan for this since our lives have been really crazy, but I do know that the only way some people get their Rasmussen (mostly Kaden fix) is from our blog. So I made a New Year's Resolution to not only loose weight, but to blog more and take more pictures of our lives. So hopefully this works out and as well as I hope my other resolutions go. So I am hoping a year of taking more pictures and downloading them onto this blog and posting more events of what is going on in our lives. I am hoping to have a new post up just kind of overviewing what has happended over the last few months and pictures to go along with them. Please be patient with me because this is all new.
